Our story
Peturance was founded by Ahaan, a New Yorker who works in the city’s pet care industry. Every week he meets owners who love their pets but have no plan for a sudden vet bill, and who find pet insurance confusing.
Peturance started as a simple idea: explain pet insurance clearly, honestly and locally, and be a real person owners can talk to.
Where we’re going
Peturance is in the process of becoming a licensed pet insurance agency in New York. Until then, we publish free educational guides and grooming tips. Once licensed, we’ll help New Yorkers compare plans and choose the right coverage.
